Alicia Keys'Job "SuperSearch" Down to Final Three Bloggers
NEW YORK, May 19, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --On April 6th, Grammy Award-winning musician and globally conscious entrepreneur Alicia Keys launched a nationwide job search for the Head Blogger of her upcoming website IAAS.com (I Am A Super Woman) with Monster.com. The IAAS.com SuperSearch powered by Monster elicited a massive response; over 8,500 job applications poured in with approximately 300,000 visitors to the Job Posting. With Monster's Semantic 6Sense search technology, the search was narrowed to 60 highly qualified candidates, which were delivered to Alicia and her team at AKW (Alicia Keys Worldwide).
This week, the final ten applicants were deliberated upon by Alicia's handpicked Selection Committee and flown to New York City on May 18th for in-person interviews, courtesy of American Airlines, the Official Fly Away sponsor of the IAAS.com search. Today, the AK Worldwide Committee narrowed the job candidates to the top three, which are posted at www.IAAS.com now. The top three bloggers will be flown to London for the Black Ball on May 27th to meet Alicia and complete their final writing assignment. The Head Blogger will be announced on June 25th.
"Finding the perfect head blogger for IAAS.com is a huge endeavor, and Monster was a great partner in helping us find the very best candidates in the most fair and professional manner," said Alicia Keys.
Monster and Alicia Keys received help from an esteemed social media panel whose members were given profiles of the final ten, as well as writing samples. The expert panel rated the candidates on pre-determined criteria including writing skills and social media savvy, and made recommendations to Alicia on who is best suited for the job.
